Baby on the way...?

After you deliver the baby, have someone bring home the babies hat or a blanket so that your dog can smell it and get used to it. Once you come home with the baby make sure you let the dog smell him/her. Don't do what your friend did and keep the baby away from him. If he's as good a dog as you say then you shouldn't have any problems. Our dog was 3 years old and spoiled rotten when we brought our daughter home and since then they have been the best of friends.
