Bactericidal effect of alcohol on microorganisms?

well hello. im going to have a student research concerning the bactericidal effect of rubbing alcohol on microorganisms on human skin, now I need a "related literature" (better with sources) concerning this. can someone aid me? ;( and perhaps could explain the properties of alcohol on why it could kill the microbes. thank you so much.
