POSSIBLE SCAM EMAIL. HAS ANYONE GOT THIS? WHAT COULD BE THEIR TRUE INTENTIONS?
They want your personal information for two reasons. #1) to steal your identity for illegal purposes overseas, and to #2) access your bank and credit history. These are scams, well-known, always along the same lines, usually from either the united kingdom in origin or south african countries like NIGERIA. iN Nigeria, they are referred to as "419" scams, the code call letters used by Nigerian Police for fraudulent use of another's identity for illegal means. Type "419 scams" into your favorite browser's search bar to see the doentation and several sites dedicated to the exposure of such fraudulent works. The browser/searcher provided by Yahoo! when I answered your question returned 767,000 results when I typed in 419 scams and pressed enter. Check it out, there are some good resources and a few fight them back baiting sites out there, if you are bored and want to have some fun back at them...(fight fire with fire !) One of the sites is even hosted by Donnie and Marie Osmond of celebrity status. Start with the "419 graveyard," and find them from there ! Have fun! aND BE SURE TO MARK THE e-MAIL AS SPAM IN YOUR e-MAIL ACCOUNT !
