What do you do if a marriage is ugly?

Tomorrow go to your local community college and pick up a catalog. Look around too and start making plans for a new career. Go to the financial aid office. More than likely there will be a grant that can pay for it. My child, in her 30's is doing this and making a new life for herself. You can do it too. Also if you do this you will be surrounded by people with ambition. That will make you feel empowered and that you can do it too. Eventually you will develop friendships there. Just do not talk about all your problems all the time....it does drive people away. Get yourself a career and then a good job and work the rest of your life out as you go along.
