What happens to a contracted AC cadet if they get dis-enrolled from the program?

There was a guy at my detachment who lost his scholarship due to grades and he got kicked out of the AC program. I know that they'll make you pay the money back, but can they also make you enlist? If so what are the chances of that happening and does it happen that often?
